Firilma Language Services (FLS) is a company based in Dakar, Senegal. It was created to break down language barriers and facilitate cross-cultural collaboration. With Firilma, our ambition is to provide our clients with top notch services that will enable them to seamlessly communicate across cultures.

We strive to reduce or eliminate any linguistic friction between our clients and native speakers, from the source language to the target language. In providing our services, the goal is to integrate our clients into the local spoken culture, rather than the other way around.

Promoting and celebrating the local African culture is always a central part of the Firilma client experience. Authentically, the name of our company comes from the Wolof expression “Firi-l- ma” which means in English “Translate for me”.
